
This is what my bike looks like loaded. It rides quite nice with the extra 35 pounds of gear on it. The two bags on the handlebars are empty as of now. I still haven't packed all the little things, like cameras and contact lenses, so I expect to add ~5 pounds more in electronics and toiletries.

That's my surfmat and fins on top of the tent on the back rack. I expect to get a lot of chances to ride it in new places as we'll be moving a bit slower along the coast and not just driving 100kph towards the next surfspot we already know about. http://www.surfmat.com/

That bike is too cool! In fact, i just got one myself because I want to be cool like you guys! Have a great time. Where to you keep your bike lock--or is locking not necessary down under????

Call or send me an email. I've been making surf mats for over 30 years. The two mat surfers in photo are Boyd Kellner and George Greenough, both riding my custom Neumatic surf mats. In fact, the first one I made for George was 25 years ago.
